It is killing to be a Vegetarian of late. Prices for Veggies are soaring sky high. Onion, which is supposed to be poor man’s staple diet (Italian Onion is something else) is turning out to be a priced eat for everybody.
It reminds me of the Dinner Scene at Raju’s home from 3 Idiots … “Paneer itni itni see pudiyo me Sonaar ke dukaan me milegi” .. lolz. Poor old Raju ki Maa. But unfortunately, it seems like that might be reality soon.
But the actual question is, where did all the food go? I mean, were the officials sleeping by the time all of it was decaying somewhere. We still cannot manage to create proper flow of food materials from its producer to its end user and here we are feeling proud of being called a Developed Country. No, we are not a developed country and with such amazing people around I do no see India becoming a developed country anywhere soon. The worst part is everybody around has accepted it so gracefully. Our expectations have gone so low and this in itself shows how good we are.
Yesterday, a Super Judge of a singing reality show suggested the participant to eat more mutton as he was falling short of breath while singing. Poor illiterate me, till now I thought singers needed practice to improve singing abilities. Singing apart, but soon I believe al of us might need to turn non-veg, cause we might end up getting meat fro cheaper rates as compared to veggies. What would happen of all those NGOs like PETA? They need to save the animals dude.
So, get ready people either clean up your country of corrupt officials or get ready to be eaten. Considering our history I believe we would prefer the later.
