Unfortunately most workplaces do not allow access to Blogs as they consider them to inappropriate in the office setup. Well, I do not agree with the same. Blogs in fact end up adding to your knowledge base and are an amazing way to share your knowledge. But, who cares what I think. As of now I am not that important to be taken a notice of.
So, for now I have found a way to continue blogging still sitting in my workplace. Surely, that would never ever have any kind of effect on the quality of my work or the performance, wait till the next appraisal cycle for statistics. So from now on you might find me blogging at any given hour of the day (or night).
Hope you guys enjoy.

I do agree that blogs are the best way to express your self but if you think from a security point of view then you will come to know that this could be used for data leakage. It is easy to broadcast a message to a large audience through it.So that is why blogging is prohibited in an organization. There are other reasons too to stop such sites.
Well… why do we always need someone to watch over us ? Can’t we exercise some amount of self policing. After all we are all grown ups and workplace is not a jail.
Besides, you guys can montior this unregulated broadcast or data leakage and take actions on it. Why do you want to block the whole website?
Also, is there a thing like a specific blog allows unrestrained broadcast and the others don’t?
