“Indian Politics is a bad game full of corrupt individuals”, “They are all the same”, “They are hand in mouth with each other all are bloody cheats”. These and such many more quotes are often said about the Indian Political Leaders. Medical, Engineering, IT Sector, Management are considered as the white collar jobs, who also give you the assurance of bagging a nice Wedding Partner. My question is why not Politics ?
Why do we always end up bad mouthing this field and never even think of trying to actually get into it ta make a difference. Why is always the case of reformation staring from the neighbor’s house. Why not at least give it a try.
In fact the not so good face of politics is kind of rubbing away of late. A recent article on Yahoo The workless worthies, speaks about how the new young leaders have changed the whole approach towards this so called bad game.
Of course I would not say that the system is totally clean or we getting into it will clean it over night. Rather I would say it will be quite a task to stay clean once in, but that’s the whole trick. May be some of us will actually get richer monetarily once in. However, even if 10% of the people who get it can maintain their self we might have a victory on hands. And corrupt they might be but we will surely have a younger face to the Political Arena.
May be this post would not make any difference to the current situation or the way we perceive Politics, but just my way of trying. Mind you I am definitely not all talk and no work, so you will surely see me jumping in this field sooner than later.
