The Indian Premier League is in its 4th season, of course minus Lalit Modi (The Czar of IPL) courtesy BCCI. I am not sure whether getting him out has helped reduce the corruption in IPL, but one thing is for sure it has reduced the oomph out of IPL. Of course IPL is catching people’s fancy thanks to the World Cup hangover and Set Max. But, some how I felt that the X Factor was gone, until … Read the rest of this entry »

The header on the website says just 1411 left. A number which should start the bells ringing in your head. The panic button needs to be pushed and some action taken now. If it doesn’t happen it would probably be too late. Think about it our children asking us how our national animal looked in real and our inability to have them see it for themselves.

Some steps have already started. Read the rest of this entry »

Gifting my friends on special occasions has always been a big issue for me. And to top that I do not seem to learn from my mistakes. Almost every time I get myself in a situation where it is only before a couple of days that I start the process of thinking as to what should the gift be.

It is killing to be a Vegetarian of late. Prices for Veggies are soaring sky high. Onion, which is supposed to be poor man’s staple diet (Italian Onion is something else) is turning out to be a priced eat for everybody.

It reminds me of the Dinner Scene at Raju’s home from 3 Idiots … “Paneer itni itni see pudiyo me Sonaar ke dukaan me milegi” .. lolz. Poor old Raju ki Maa. But unfortunately, it seems like that might be reality soon. Read the rest of this entry »

Unfortunately most workplaces do not allow access to Blogs as they consider them to inappropriate in the office setup. Well, I do not agree with the same. Blogs in fact end up adding to your knowledge base and are an amazing way to share your knowledge. But, who cares what I think. As of now I am not that important to be taken a notice of. Just saw the movie – The Social Network and must say liked it. Well, not so much because of the story telling abilities of the director or any other technical greatness(of course it is good), but more so due to the whole concept behind it. I liked the zest and go getter attitude of Jesse Eisenberg playing the protagonist. It more or less depicts how things shape up in real life. Read the rest of this entry »

First thing this isn’t a restaurant review or even about the food and ambience. You can visit one of the many websites only dedicated for such reviews on the internet. This is about just an experience, a more of an afterthought, a hangover of sorts about an evening very well spent.

…the foodie within me hadn’t had any adventure or a new experience of late so I with a couple of friends decided to avoid the Ghar ka Khana for a change and go out exploring. Read the rest of this entry »

Just having a look around me makes wonder sometimes. Every thing is changing at an immense pace. The monsoons have passed but rains don’t seem to making understand that. CWG has finally ended in India (not actually at the way we would have liked it to). Cricket India is defeating the Australians is Tests. Orkut users have switched to Facebook. Salmaan Khan seems to be on a new high. Kashmir turmoil Read the rest of this entry »

The other day, I met 3 of my close friends after a whole year. Time actually flies off, I still remember the quality time spent by us and how we used just go around painting the town red. As soon as we met, we started doing things at which we are best, that is Duniya ki Bajaao, care a damn about the world and gain immense pleasure by troubling them. In our good old days, one of our timepass included watching news on India TV. Read the rest of this entry »

“Indian Politics is a bad game full of corrupt individuals”, “They are all the same”, “They are hand in mouth with each other all are bloody cheats”. These and such many more quotes are often said about the Indian Political Leaders. Medical, Engineering, IT Sector, Management are considered as the white collar jobs, who also give you the assurance of bagging a nice Wedding Partner. My question is why not Politics ?
